AI: should it be paused?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to improve lives – for example, by reducing people’s workloads, improving healthcare and supporting people to protect the environment. However, there is a possibility that AI might become more intelligent than humans and it could be used by people with bad or criminal intentions.
