Safeguarding
We take safeguarding extremely seriously.
We believe that young people should develop the skills to have constructive discussions about what is happening in the world. To do this, they need to learn about current affairs and practise having discussions in-person and online. We must provide a safe and place to enable this.
Our safeguarding policy is reviewed annually and covers areas including:
- Online safety
- Procedure for acting on concerns about a young person
- Procedures for managing allegations against staff and volunteers
- Whistleblowing policy
Our behaviour codes offer rules and guidance for staff and volunteers, teachers and students.
