Earth Day 2025 Live Lesson

23 April 2025

Wednesday 23rd April 2025

Can renewable energy breakthroughs power us to net-zero?

Many countries have one target in common: achieving net-zero. To make this goal a reality, significant changes are taking place. Renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, hydro and geothermal power are being used globally to reduce dependence on non-renewable resources like oil and gas and protect the planet.

In time for Earth Day 2025, this lesson helps students discuss this year’s theme, “Our Power, Our Planet”, in the context of recent news stories on green energy.

Watch and learn as a class alongside other schools from around the world and hear from topic experts. Students will have their say in polls, take part in interactive activities and join inspiring discussions!

Registration for this event is now closed.
