Cop 27

COP Events and Our World

Every day millions of trees are being cut down and animals are dying and losing their homes. I want to write about COP27 because I love plants and wildlife and want to save plants so that we can have a better and greener future. Cutting down trees and taking wildlife will make the planet worse. We should treat the planet the way we want to be treated.

Sadly, Pakistan has had many floods which has meant one third of the country has been submerged in water. This has meant it has been difficult to get food and for children to receive an education. This is all because of CLIMATE CHANGE!

What is COP27?

Cop 27 is an organisation that talks about what's happening in the world around climate change then gathers world leaders to see what they can do about it to save the planet.

Some people argue that COP events are not sustainable to the environment because of the way that the world leaders travel such as: petrol cars and planes. This year cop 27 will be held in Egypt but should the leaders be travelling on planes and cars which will pollute the planet or is there a more sustainable way?

What we should do?

We should work together and help the world to be safer for the environment and not just ourselves but the animals.

We can all do small things each day such as : we should pick up litter and put it in the bin no matter where the rubbish is. You might think that doing it will not help that much but it will.

Remember there is no planet B so we need to make the most of what we do and to do good for the planet. We need to make the most of what we do to be sustainable for the planet. We need to make better decisions and work together because if this is not done the world will be too bad for human life to exist.
