Sustainability of COP events

Climate change is a huge problem to our environmentfor the past few years. It causes extreme weather, natural disasters and releases carbon dioxide into the world. Thats why we have COP events. COP events have been happening for 27 years. But in a way COP events have been damaging our environment in a way and is not sustainable. I am worried that COP events are not sustainable for lots of different ways. For example, one of the worlds biggest poluters are sponsering COP 27. If they were sponsered by a different company COP 27 would be more sustainable. Also world leaders are not keeping their promises. If they would keep their promises, maybe climate change would be a little less important. Furthermore world leaders don`t let other world leaders share their perspective. If they let everyone share their perspective, there would be more solutions to solve climate change. COP events are also very expensive to run. People pay millions of pounds to run them. It would be alot cheaper if they done it outdoors. FInally, people travel miles around the world with planes which uses gas that damages the world with polution. I think that all of these perspectives are very unsustainable and severe solutions should be made. If world leaders listened to us, maybe climate change would be gone.
