AI is better than humans at performing tasks like fraud detection, medical diagnoses and predictive analytics. AI has good memory storage and works well in stressful situations. With this in mind it’s no wonder people are worried about unemployment.
Doctors say a lot of health care will be replaced by AI in the future. For example, new surgery performed on a grape by AI, health care staff may be replaced by AI. With AI’s better intelligence and emotionless state it’s likely detectives, cleaners and maids will be replaced. People like "Allowing_peach" think that AI will cause harm to humanity because of unemployment. Does that mean we should stop getting jobs?
Some jobs that will be enhanced by AI and other jobs created by AI. These jobs could include AI strategy data scientist and AI ethicists. The new jobs will focus on the development of AI or recording it’s progress. As AI evolves, there’ll likely be new job opportunities which are impossible to comprehend in our age. This has already happened to humanity in the industrial revolution when tractors were invented but jobs were made like train drivers.
How will schools change because of AI? Many people, like peaceful_nature believe school trips may be replaced with VR. VR trips would be cheaper allowing those who otherwise could not afford it to attend. It’ll also be safer for kids to explore because they won’t get lost. VR replacing school trips won’t be special because you aren't really there feeling the breezes of Mount Everest or smelling the salt from seas. All you're doing is in your mind.
AI can help schools as it’s a connected hive mind they could use it to see children's strengths to understand better ways of helping children. It could accurately give children things they need to succeed. However, AI couldn’t understand children's learning needs. Forcing children who’re struggling to keep to an average. This could prevent kids who’re faster learners than others, being forced to access teaching that holds them back.
