Eco-anxiety, my view, my future
This post was written by a student. It has not been fact checked or edited.
Across the world, climate change has had an irreversible impact on people, animals and the environment. Some people are feeling worried and frightened about the planet and the future. This is called eco-anxiety. Over the past few years, more young people are worried about the future than older people.
Some people believe that eco-anxiety is normal but other people believe otherwise. The ten warmest years on record have occurred since 2005.Eco-anxiety has occurred to a lot of people so most think it is normal.
On the other hand, other people think it is not normal. They believe that it is a problem. They think eco-anxiety is making people too worried about the future and those they are exaggerating and overreacting. They believe it is too far in the future. They do not think people should worry about it.
In my opinion, we should try to find a solution, now. We can try to recycle more and drive less. We could eat more plant based food or buy less red meat. We can calm down. We can do many things to help the planet. It does not have to be a big thing, because every little thing counts. Every little thing counts as a big impact. We should all try to do something, big or small. We can do it. There is always a solution. Everything has a solution.

I totally agree with you. Every problem has a solution but we can only find it, if we try to. Like this there is some solution for eco-anxiety too. In my view, firstly, people can take practical steps like reducing the carbon footprint, supporting sustainable practices, staying involved without being overwhelmed, connecting with nature and getting involved in environmental initiatives or advocacy group. People can seek support from family, friends, mental health professionals which can be helpful for coping with eco-anxiety.
Even though we can help to reduce a little bit of climate change but it is really helpful than we think it is.
