The Enhanced Games

The Enhanced Games allow the usage of steroids. These are performance enhancing drugs that may make you faster or stronger. They make the games unfair, put the athletes in danger, and defeat the purpose of a sport.  An example of this could be a normal person taking steroids and immediately turning the athlete into the best athlete there which is unfair  to the other athletes who have trained years for the specific event. It also puts the athletes in danger with symptoms such as high blood pressure and many many more things that can be extremely harmful to the athlete.

The perspectives of different people could differ widely however. I think that people that competed in the Olympics or are an Olympic gold medalist would think that the games are unfair to everyone. I think that they would feel that if you play in a sport you must work hard in order to get good at it just like they did. However someone such as a doctor may say that the games are horrible due to the numerous health concerns circling steroids. These can be things such as mood swings, increased aggression, increased anxiety, heightened blood pressure, insomnia, increased appetite, changes in memory, feeling restless, increased sweating, easier bruising, skin acne, depression, paranoia, dizziness, baldness, and the list goes on.
