Does money come with power?

There is a saying, “money is power,” and considering today's society, I too think that money does come with great responsibility. My teacher once told me that “everything is related to money,” and if you think a bit far into it, everything is related to money.
Why do you think adults make time to go to work? For money. Why else would people willingly work from 9-5pm if not for money? Because they love their job? But at the end of the day, they still need that money to support themselves, or their family. And things will cost you money. In the United States, the average cost for a living monthly is 4,000-5,000 usd. Some people can’t afford living luxuries, so they spend their money wisely, cutting down on things that they enjoy.
Did you know that money can also save you? Let's say you got into a car accident where you have a severe injury. And the next thing you know, you open your eyes up and see an unfamiliar ceiling. You’re now currently at the hospital because the people around you at the car accident called for help. And now you are the one who has to pay for the hospital bill. And if you can’t afford it, you go into debt.
When you have money, you have power.
