Is Elon Musks power a Problem?

Good morning and welcome to my standpoint about the topic of weather I believe that Elon Musk’s power is a problem or not? I would like to start my Standpoint by saying that I believe that Mr. Musk’s power is a problem but I am open for other thoughts and ideas.
I think that Elon Musk’s power is a problem because he is able to influence some of the biggest global decisions with his popularity on social media (for example: X), his connections to powerful people (for example: Donald Trump) and his wealth which he has been able to obtain through various different companies.
My fist example which supports my opinion, is that Elon Musk does not use his power, influence and popularity for the greater good. Most of the professional decisions he has made are only based on personal gain and do not show any kind of profit for people in the world. He has the potential power to help people in need by donating to or funding big charity’s but nearly all of his decisions he has made in his career, have been in favour of his own profits. (I would like to add that I know he had donated a large sum of money in 2021.) If he would use his money selflessly instead of selfishly, he would prove that he indeed has sympathy for people in need.
My second example is that he has already been able to influence the US-election and up to a few weeks ago he was trying to influence the German Election by promoting the right winged party (the AFD) on X (formally known as Twitter). With help of his fortune, he was able to “buy votes” for the US-election in favour of Donald Trump. So, what should stop him from influencing more global decisions negatively in the future.
In conclusion, I believe that Elon Musk’s power is a problem because he abuses his popularity over various social media websites, he uses his connections in politics to unfairly influence elections and he uses most of his wealth for his own gain. Having said this, I am very excited about reading all of your thoughts intrigued to know what you think about the subject if you are of a different opinion to me.
