What makes Elon Musk so powerful?

I think Elon Musk is so powerful because he is the richest man on earth, has political influence - since he is friends with Donald Trump - and owns quite a few companies such as SpaceX, X and Telsa.
The first reason that supports my opinion is that he made a lottery where anyone who voted Donald Trump would be entered into a lottery for $1,000,000. This caused lots of people to turn their heads from Camilla Harris to Trump and make him win the election.
The second example that supports my opinion is that he earns lots of profit from his companies( SpaceX, X and Tesla). This has sparked him onto thinking he can not be stopped. An example of this is when he did the infamous Nazi salute in front of thousands of people.
Someone who could disagree with me could be someone who is an Elon Musk fan because they could say he earnt the money and he can decide what to do with it. Another example could be that he made a mistake - like everyone does a somepoint - when he did the salute and didn't think about the consequences of this. But, in my opinion, he did know that it would light a fire around the world and just wanted attention.
In conclusion, I believe Elon Musk should put some of his money to the side or donate some to charity. This could earn him more followers for doing some good and selfless. Too much money could also be dangerous, since that sort of money could buy nukes( and other millitary weapons) and buy many companies to give him even more power and followers.
