Why is Elon Musk so powerful?

I think that the reason Elon musk is so powerful is because of his relationship with Mr Donald Trump and social media. Recently, they have ‘teamed up’, with Trump selecting him as his Senior government advisor. He is the owner of X (previously known as twitter), Tesla, Neuralink, xAI and The Boring Company.
An example that supports my opinion is that recently, they -Elon Musk and Trump- have ‘teamed up’, with Trump selecting him as his Senior government advisor. Together, they could do many awful things to our earth.
A second example that supports my opinion is that he is the owner of X (previously known as twitter), Tesla, Neuralink, xAI and The Boring Company. With over 200 million followers on social media, he obviously is liked by many, giving him much power.
Overall, I think that the main reason Elon musk is so powerful is his social media influence and relationship with Trump.
