Is there equality?

Written standpoint on women in space

Nowadays, we think that equality is something usual and normalize, but we are wrong. No so many time ago, women weren´t allow to vote, buy a house, take money from the bank... and being pregnant was a very huge problem for those who needed money to support the family, and that still happening (but in a smaller percentage).

Thanks to the talk we recived, we were able to see that inequality can be also out of Earth, not only on travels, but also on technical works related to this. One example o this is that women didn´t arrived at the space until the decade of the 60s, another is that there has been only one Afro-American woman in the space. These examples show that there stills being a lot of work to achieve our goal.

All this is seen from our type of society because, in other places, women continue to be like objects and they aren´t allowed to do lots of things of which we are proud to having achieve.

Now, the problem is that this is not only related to women but also to men and many of them are sure this is not like this. We need the help of everibody if we want a better planet to future generations, one without inequality, and sadly this very far to happening.

From here I would like to make those who think that inequality doesn´t exist, see that, if we don´t join forces, the planet we want will never arrive.
