Which problem caused by gender inequality is the most difficult to fix?

' When you watch movies or read stories, women are mostly given these roles (domestic roles and care giving responsibilities) so I contributed to the way societies see women.' - steriotypes- Topical talker, Nigerea.
I think that a problem difficult to fix is space suits, because they don't make new space suits every day, and another problem is women not getting into the space industry because men could believe in the motherhood penalty.
The first example that supports my opinion is, on the live lesson we had, the astronaut said that space suits weren't made for women. The second example that supports my opinion is, if women don't get a job, it could be because of the motherhood penalty.
The people that may disagree with me are men incharge because some men think that women are weaker then men.
Another reason for women struggling to get in a job, wich could be invloved with the motherhood penalty, are higher entry barriers.
I think the motherhood penalty (and the space suit problem) might not be that well fixed, even if people try to fix it, because I think men could refuse to agree if they believe in the motherhood penalty.
