Will Women’s Inequality Ever Change?

Written standpoint on women in space

Yelling starts “You’re too weak!”, “You can’t do this, this is a man’s job!”. “Go watch the kids, like you’re supposed to!”. I’m pretty sure you’ve heard a lot of these words. I want you to ask yourself who are these words coming from? The answer is mostly men. Many people and/or men seem to always doubt women. So, the question I'm going to answer in this essay is will women's inequality ever change?

Well, in my opinion, I don’t think that women's inequality will ever change. My first reason is that according to UW Home 73% of the world is stereotypical people. Also, no matter what you say to men they won’t listen. An example that shows this is with WW11, the women made more manufactured products than men. And yet men came back and still had the same thoughts about women.

Another reason why I don’t think women's inequality will ever change is because of the motherhood penalty. Motherhood penalty refers to the economic disadvantages women face in the workplace as a result of becoming mothers. Meaning, this makes it hard for women to get good jobs. Not only that, this changes the pay women get from their jobs making them get a different pay than men. This is another form of inequality!

The last reason why I think women's inequality is not going to change is because of male-dominated jobs. Most of the jobs in the world are male-dominated meaning these jobs are mainly worked by men. Some examples of this are Aircraft, Firefighters, and Technology. A lot of men think women can’t do things like this but in reality, they are better than them.

Well, this is the end of my standpoint and my reasons, I hope the people around the world get to see this and change the world. Also, to stop women inequality, because the more we reject women the less the accomplishments we will get!
