The conflict in Syria is not just a war, it is an example of the worldwide tensions between countries. It started as a protest, asking for more democracy, and it becomes rapidly into a very complicated war, in which lots of countries intervene due to different interests. Syria is a place where people fight for the control of the country, and also for ideas ans strategies that affects everyone.
The suffering of people is notable. Millions of refugies, deaths and destroyed cities affect Syria and the peace of other countries as well. This conflict makes people think about how to manage the differences between countries and how foreign interventions can make the situacions worse, causing more damage to people.
In addition, this conflict shows how the interests of each country matter more than the health of people. The inter vention of countries such as Russia, USA and Turkey, shows that sometimes, what countries are looking for is protecting their own interests, instead of helping . With this, we learn that sometimes, the countries´ power can beat human necesities.
Finnaly, the conflict makes us think on how the international community manages the crisis. We have seen that the traditional methods are not enough to solve actual problems. We must see this problem as something that affects averyone and that we have the responsability of helping, to improve the situation.
In conclusion, Syria is more than a conflict. It is a remember of how people is interconected and how the indifference and the lack of cooperation can affect things. It makes us think new ways to solve problems and value life more. If we dont learn what is happening in Syria, we have the risk to repeat it in the future.
