Does giving international aid sometimes cause more harm than good?

I strongly believe that aid is probably the best thing to do to help countries in need if they need aid after a nuclear war or survived a natural disaster like a flood or tornado
In addition, international aid is good for helping by adding money, food, water and helpers like medics and engineers. Secondly, aid can save people’s lives.
Although it is true that aid is an excellent way of sending reasorces, sometimes aid can cost a lot of money and when the country sends it they won’t have enough to buy anything for themselves.
In conclusion, I think aid does more good than harm and it is the best way to help or save people.
