Does giving aid cause more harm than good?
International aid is help given by the government of one country to another country. It can include credit, nutrition, treatment, or other support. Worldwide funding is very important, but it can sometimes cause a dilemma if it is not used properly.
Funding helps countries during natural disasters, wars, and health emergencies. It saves lives and supports poor people. It also helps make learning sites, hospitals, and streets. In this way, funding can improve people's lives and help a country develop.
However, funding can sometimes cause harm. If a country depends too much on funding, it may not try to solve its own problems. Sometimes the credit is not used correctly because of corruption. Also, some donors or families may try to control or influence the receiving country.
In my opinion, worldwide funding is good if it is managed well and used honestly. The best way is to give funding for long-term development, not only short-term help.
