If all ages are influenced by misinformation, should there be any age limits on voting?

Lowering the voting age - Standpoint image

I think that they could get misinformation when they are younger and get the wrong idea on who to vote because older people do not go on social media as much as younger people and adults are more likely to research about it.

My first reason is that younger people could be forced to vote for someone specific by there family members or somone else. This is my second point of view; older people might get annoyed because they might think there to young to make important decisions. 16-25 year olds might like a celebrity and they might follow what they do and who they say there going to vote, this might make them confused when someone brings it up.

Now I will talk about who will disagree with me. I think a younger person might disagree with me because they might think they can vote sensibly, some people can vote sensibly but others might not. However, I think they are wrong because they could get the wrong information for any sorce and they might vote for somone and realise they are not the person who they wanted to vote.

Here is a fact that I found; there was a campain in Trindad and Tabago's young people ojn socail media made a campain they put on socail media called Do so meaning don't vote.

My thought is taht they should not let under 18s because they could get misinformation like I said.
