If all ages are influenced by misinformation, should there be any age limits on voting?

If you're old enough to go go out to work and youre old enough to pay taxes then you are entitled to have a say on how your taxes are spent" Keir Starmer says on Chanel 4.
I disagree with that point.
Although that statement is partially right, leaving a smaller limit on voting would create total chaos every 4 years and may also reduce the amount of people who are motivated to vote as they might believe there opinion dosn't matter anymore. This is because 16 and 17 year olds might vote for a party that their friends voted for.
There are other obvious and not so obvious points on why this isn't an amazing idea:
-Teens may vote for a party that doesn't support the country because their friends are doing it
-Younger people's brains arent developed enough for critical thinking as there frontal lobe develops when they reach 27.
-I believe people under 18 are more vulnerable to misinformation than older age groups.
-I believe algorithms on social media platforms have a great say in what young people use to make decisions or create stereotypes.
A person may counter argument saying it doesnt have to be a total goodbye to age limits and this will allow young people adress their thoughts. This all very true but letting teenagers decide part of how the country's run seems wrong. There was clearly a reason the government made the age limit 18 + back then and I dont think it should change now.
