If all ages are influenced by misinformation, should there be any age limits on voting?

Misinformation affects everyone—young people, adults, and even seniors. So, should age really decide who gets to vote? I don’t think so.
Being older or younger doesn’t protect anyone from believing false information. What really matters is education, awareness, and the ability to think critically. Instead of limiting voting by age, we should focus on teaching people how to evaluate sources, question what they read, and make thoughtful decisions.
Voting is not just a right, it’s a responsibility. And that responsibility should be guided by knowledge, not just age. When citizens are informed, they can contribute to society in meaningful ways, and democracy becomes stronger for everyone.
Everyone deserves a chance to learn and improve their understanding, no matter their age. By giving people the tools to think critically and spot misinformation, we ensure that more voters can make decisions based on facts, not confusion or deception. In the end, age limits might seem simple, but they don’t solve the real problem. True progress comes when all voters, regardless of age, are equipped to make decisions based on facts and understanding
