Should voting rights match a person’s legal responsibilities?

People's legal responsibilities is a difficult topic to solve and talk about. In some places young people start voting when they are under 18. From my point of view both concepts of the title are linked. Do you want to know why? Keep on reading to find out!
I think that both are related because if you have the right to select who is going to govern or to change something you must pay the consequences of what you decide. I think this is something basic because if not it would be really unfair that you vote for something that proposes a rule and you don’t follow it.
Another reason for it is that in most countries the age in which you have the right to vote is the same as for example paying taxes, at least in Spain. In the case that the age of voting would be lower, it wouldn’t make sense because you would have to decide on complex topics that you aren’t experiencing.
Some people may argue that if young people see these concepts in class or the education that your parents give you is enough to understand it. It can make sense because it has a point on it and education is great for some things. However, as we are humans we wouldn’t be objective at all because it is impossible for us. Moreover, not everyone has access to those resources.
To sum up, taking into account all I have investigated and learnt from this topic, voting rights must be matched with a person's legal responsibilities because they must follow the rules that they chose and because if you just lower the age of the first one young people will face problems that they haven’t experienced yet.
