Should voting rights match a person’s legal responsibilities?

I think that voting rights shouldn't match a persons legal responsibilities because They are different things and shouldnt relate to each other
Why I think this ,is because one person may not understand voting and have legal responsibilities. Another reason is that these two things have different ages so if one changes ,it might not be the right and suitable age .
People who disagree with me will think that if one person has legal responsibilities, they should be trusted to vote however , legal responsibilities are something serious and if they matched with each other, young people could either:
.not have the time to vote
.be under pressure of voting or it could cause issues
That is why I think voting age shouldn't match the age of legal responsibilities.
