Would giving 16-year-olds the vote improve democracy or just change the way campaigns are run?

Hi I am accurate_crow and today I am taking about lowering the voting age, my big question is 'would giving 16 year olds the vote improve democracy or just change the way campanes are run?'

I think giving 16 year olds the chance to vote will improve democracy because some 16 year olds want to vote for their future.

The first example that supports my opinion is that there are lots of 16 year olds that are forced to do what the government says they have to do and they just want to vote for what they think will make the world better and a happier place.

The second example that supports my opinion is, the government have to choose out of not many people so if millions of people join in it might make it easier to pick the one with the most votes.

One person who dissagrees with my opinion is highspirited_independence because they think 16 and 17 year olds are not mature enough. However I think my argument is stronger because some 16 and 17 year olds are very mature and sensible.
