Lowering the voting age - Standpoint image 4

“You can’t vote until you're 16. You will have to wait another 2 years.” Most people just shut us out. We are trying to make a difference for humanity and for democracy. In my opinion, I strongly believe giving 16 year-olds the right to vote would most certainly improve the democracy becuase it would give younger people a right to say what they think, it helps the Democracy, and gives them a habit of voting.

Giving 16 year-olds the right to vote would also improve the Democracy because it gives the younger citizens a say and lets thier voices be heard. 16 year-olds can change the world of democracy by giving their own opinions about certain things that the government is trying to decide and they could be signing postions about renovating areas that have been destroyed for years. It can also keep Donald Trump out of office. Their opinions matter and the government has to realize that.

16-year-olds help the Democracy by giving extra votes to the candidates that are running for certain positions and can make a difference for this world. People say you can't vote until you're 18, but lets change that number to 16 so we can give others a say. Although young citizens don't fully understand the election process, our parents can educate us through out the process of voting in elections.
