Do international alliances always make the world safer, or can they sometimes lead to more tension?

International alliances NATO(north atlantic treaty organization) is an organization which is established to help members countries during attacks, conflicts or disasters. It aim is to prevent members countries from economic instability and vandalization.

It may be safer but,often leads to tension when there is conflict between members countries and when secret are spilled. It brings more harm than good as there no cooperation and trust which has now reach boiling points.

It can be dangerous as there's no orderliness and union among members which is not supposed to be because they have gone against the aim of the organisation which is very unfair and disrespectful of the members. I don't see any reason for establishment and continuity of the organization when there is disharmony, hatred and intolerance.
