Should countries stay allies even if their leaders don’t get along?

Yes countries should stay allies even if their leaders don't get along because alliance are based on shared interests not personal friendships. For example countries in North Athletic Treasty Organization such as the United States , France and Turkey have sometimes disagreed over defense spending and government policies , Despite these tension ,they continue to work together to maintain collective security Some people argue that conflict between leaders weaken trust and cooperation . How ever , alliances usually survive because shared national interest and security goals are stronger than personal disagreement between leaders.
