Can technology make sports more equal or does it widen the gap between competitors?

In sport we don’t tend to use technology to give advantages or even help us to play the game. Technology can change sport, plenty of different ways. There are lots of pros and cons about technology, technology is tools like cameras, sensors and equipment to help athletes with sport.

In my opinion, I believe that technology makes sports unfair, for an example if a poor and rich country go against each other in a match, then the poorer country may not have enough money for the needed equipment. This would tempt athletes and coaches to cheat by using better and more advanced tech. This would be a big advantage to the richer country, leading to the game becoming uneven and unfair.

However, to make sport fairer, technology could be used to see whether the ball crossed the line into the goal. This means that teams are less likely to lose because of a mistake. People with disabilities also deserve to use technology because they might not be able to use a certain part of their body.

In conclusion, I think that technology should only be used to help people with disabilities and not to cheat or help with game play.
