Can technology make sports more equal, or does it only widen the gap between competitors?

Tech in any kind of sport is drones, VAR , cameras , sensors and special equipment to help athletes and referee . In this piece of writing, I will tell you if its equal or does it widen the gap.

Firstly, I believe that tech widens the gap because people that are worse than pros can get an advantage by tech while the pros rely on natural talent. Secondly, tech can help cheat basically and improve gameplay.
On the other hand, people will disagree that tech should help and train new people.
In conclusion I think that tech should not be used in sport because it can help cheating
