Can technology make sports more equal, or does it only widen the gap between competitors?

In my perspectiven, sports should always be about the athlete, not the equipment. The Winter Games show amazing talent, strength, and determination from athletes who have trained for many years. Their skill and hard work are what truly make them champions, and technology cannot replace that.
At the same time, technology can help improve sports. Better equipment, accurate timing systems, and safer gear allow athletes to perform at their best and reduce injuries. In this way, technology supports athletes and makes competitions more reliable.
However, technology can also create inequality. Wealthier countries may have access to more advanced equipment and training facilities, which can give them an advantage over others.
In the end, technology should help athletes, but it should never decide the winner. The true spirit of the Winter Games lies in talent, dedication, and the passion of the athletes.
