Can technology make sports more equal, or does it only widen the gap between competitors?

I think technology widens the gap between competitors.

One reason is because they have better equipment and artifacts, one piece of evidence is the carbon fiber plates in running shoes, what this does is that it returns more energy and momentum while tunning or jumping.

Another reason is the faster recovery, with higher technology devices the doctors can find the injury faster and also heal it faster with professional physiotherapist, medicines, machines etc...

And additionally, they can have better coaches, that means better training and better decisions during a match so better results

Someone who disagrees with me might think that it isn't true, that sports are always fair and equal for all competitors and no one has an advantage, however I think they are wrong because it is confirmed that some technology, for example in the equipment the technology gives the athlete an advantage, as I said before, an example is the carbon fiber plates in running shoes

To sum up everything, I think that technology makes the gap between athletes wider, it is a slight advantage but it is still an advantage.
