Can technology make sports more equal, or does it only widen the gap between competitors?

I completely agree that talent, training and technology should all be tested in sports.

I think this because if we make sports depend only on talent, it would mean ignoring the reality that athletes also need training and preparation. A talented athlete may have natural potential, but turning that potential into real performance requires science-based training. Training helps turn weaknesses into strengths and can transform losing into victory.

Some people might disagree with me because they think sport should only depend on natural talent. They believe that adding technology or advanced training methods could make competition unfair.

However, I disagree with this idea because technology cannot do everything for an athlete. Technology may help with preparation or strategy, but it cannot replace an athlete’s own ability and hard work.

Therefore, modern sports represent a combined contest of human ability, discipline, intelligence and technology. The athlete who can combine these things most effectively will be the true winner.
