Can technology make sports more equal, or does it only widen the gap between competitors?

I think that technology does really make the game more fair between players and teams.

Firstly, technology can help referees solve unclear points or goals, making the scoreboard more

just for each team, for example, Hawk's eye camera in tennis does a great job in this aspect.

On the other hand, it can also provide a reliable source to avoid conflicts due to fouls or

controversial plays by providing video evidence, for instance VAR in football matches is an

indispensable tool regarding the leagues' fairness and sportsmanship.

Lastly, tech can also improve the viewers' experience, helping them know what is really happening in the field without having the doubt of wether the referee's decisions are fair or not.

Others might argue that these new implementations to sports are not fair at all because they think that tech can be bought really easily, however, I disagree, because, generally speaking, most of the teams do not have the sufficient funds to do this.

To sum up, tech has been lately improving sports and mantaining fairness among games, I would even go as far as to say that technology might be able to replace humans in a not-so-distant future.
