Can technology make sports more equal, or does it only widen the gap between competitors?

My favorite topic is the Winter Games, and we were asked what we think about technology being used in some sports and whether technology can make them more equal.
I thought technology is used for many things nowadays and is very advanced, and it can be used in sports to see some mistakes and improve them. For example, in a football matters , some people get bored or angry because they see mistakes that the referee does not see, and I think technology can improve those things so that people are happy and confident and also, in athletics, technology can help athletes train and improve to become better.
If anyone disagrees with me, that´s fine because everyone has the right to give their opinion and I respect that.
A very interesting fact about technology in sports is that there are devices for athletes that allow them to analyse their technique and reduce the risk of injury during training.
To conclude, I believe that technology can be improved to make things fairer.
