Can technology make sports more equal, or does it only widen the gap between competitors?

In my opinion I think tech widens the gap bertween teams.For instance,some teams are not in the best finantial state,but the other team have lots of money.I dont think thats fair because,if the richer country can buy lots of technology and the poor team can not,the richer team would have an advanage.An example is if there is a really helpful sports tech but it is really expensive and the rich team buys it,the poor team would have a higher chance of losing because they dont have the the money to buy the tech.In conclusion that is why I think tech in sports widens the gap.
