Can technology make sports more equal or dose it only widen the gap between competetors?
In my opion allowing technology in most sports is both good and bad. For example giveing or allowing more tech will widen the gap because some countrys have a bigger budget meening that some copetitors will have more money so they can buy more advanced technology. However many people will disagree and say that the teams that are not usualy that good may have a chance at inproveing. In addition, the moden olymics started in 1924 and the paralymics stated in 1960; since then both of these giant sporting events have grown much bigger. Through-out the years all teams have wantted to win and becum better and better.
This years winter olymic games( 2026) will feature over 3,500 ath;etes from 93 countys across 22 sports. Although ,some sport technology can be helpful such as HALO in formular 1. the HALO is a titanium three-prong structure that was made madatory in Fomular 1 in 2018. It is used to prostect the drivers head. It was intally disliked by drivers and fans whio called it ugly and said it ruind open cockpit racing. However it has since saved multiple lives in major accidents.
Today some sport technology is good but others widen the gap, HALO provides safer F1 driveing and less F1 accidents. But the oliymics widens the gap.
