Does the use of technology make new world records less impressive than those of the past?

I think winter games technoligy can improve a team if a player is ill or unable to play. But it should not be used if you use it for an advantage. That would make it unfair. Say you bought a new video game, and you saw everyone had worked for all of the good things and you just bought a starter pack. That would make you better than all of them in the matter of seconds. this is like if you use technoligy in sports. there is a thing called HALO that can increase play and saftey.
HALO increased accuracy from 62% to 82% and saved an F1 players life. If a car crashed on the lane and the car caught fire, HALO let the player out of a small compartment; enabling them to live. Most players work hard for good stuff [like the example given] but some new olypians use items paid for not the earned.
I think that new players might disagree with my points as they would want to have a boost to become equal with the others. An older player might disagree with me as well because they might need a boost as their muscles are weaker than anyone else's. This would mean world records are much more acheivable for everyone. Olympians should only win world records if they train hard enough, not new ones if they don't.
In conclusion, I think world records are more impresive than others from the past as technoligy has started to make world records much, much simpler.
