Does the use of technology make new world records less impressive than those of the past?

I think yes because its not your own skill and because some people make world records so everyone can see them. I also think yes because some people might not do any sports but they want to try something new.
In august 2025 two of the Norwegian ski teams stars and three staff members were charged with cheating for illegally putting ,special reinforced threads into the athletes 'ski suits'.
The technical team alledly performed the secret tech work to increase the suits surface area and stiffness , which gives the skiers extra aerodynamic lift this tech fraud resulted in the cha,pion skiers being immediately disqualified.
In the skeleton race the person is trying their best to keep up the pace of their run off.The people in te bobsleigh are also trying to keep up the pace. The skiers are trying their best to not fall over otherwise they would not make it to the finals .
The olympic champions have had years of practice to become a gold medalist for our country.
