Does the use of technology make new world records less impressive than those of the past?

Winter Olympics: Technology
Tech in the Winter Olympics has always been a debate topic for many. Today, I will explain that using technology (like AI) to break world records isn’t always as impressive as breaking them without tech. In my opinion, it makes world records less impressive and more ‘It’s way easier now with tech’.
A reason supporting my opinion is that if someone uses tech (as an unfair advantage) but another person from another team doesn’t have tech and then tries to break a world record (but fails) and the person from the team that has technology then tries to break the WR (World Record) and then they do, that’s because they have tech on their side.
The second reason for my opinion is that some people don’t acknowledge the fact that the person who broke the world record actually used tech to help them. That means the person ‘merely’ cheated their way to winning! People hate cheaters so they would be obviously be steaming by the fact someone had not played fairly.
In the opposite side, other people might disagree straight away. They fail to realise that not every win is without the use of tech. They might be cheering, ‘Wow, that person actually did it!’ but what others don’t know is that the player does not have the physical ability to actually break a world record, which means they use technology to just simply ‘help’ them break a world record. That also means they don’t carry a truthful lesson.
However, I strongly believe that their opinion is entirely out of reach. The reason being is that when others think ‘Using tech to break world records is far more impressive than not using it!’, they’re basically saying: ‘Using tech to cheat so that you can break world records is far more impressive!’. Well, of course they are wrong! Why would you want to encourage something that isn’t supposed to be there?
In conclusion, using tech to help you break world records is not very impressive when you think about it. Also, using it to ‘cheat’. However, people still use it to help, and that can be understandable. For all of the reasons I gave out, using tech to help break world records is just not impressive. Thank you, guys for listening.
