Does the use of technology make new world records less impressive than those of the past?

Is technology useful in sports? do you think technology is fair in sports?

for me, technology in sports is really un- useful because it basically counts as cheating. the reason referees were made to come into the game because they are the people who make the really important descison it really shouldnt be up to technology to make the descisons . people in sports are actaully trying their full ability in sport while someone else is probably using technology to win. that will not be a fun sport game. imagine in a running race you are running with someone else and they use technology to win will that make you feel happy? because it certainly woudlnt make me happy.

the reason refeeres were made to come in the game was because their responsible for enforcing the rules in sports, ensuring fair play and managing game flow. perhaps in swimming someone had a tracker on their legs to see their time and how fast they were going thats unfair. if you did that in practice then thats your practice but say it was the winter olypmics i personally think you should be disqualified.

in class we did this game were you stand in the hoop and have a beenbag you have to throw it in the hoop. people who are taller have an advantage because their quite tall but smaller people have a disadvantage because they might not be able to throw that far. thats the same with technology. its not equality, if one person has technologyand the other doesnt that wouldnt be far they need a better chance like the other person gets so thats why i think their should be no technology in sports its not fair, equal or right to have someone cheating while the other person will be using their full ability.

the people i think might disagree with me are people who actually use the technology becaue they think its alright because they do its really not. someone who doesnt use it might agree with me because they think its unfair aswell. so no technology should not be used in sport.

my conclusion is that maybe sometimes technology is useful my opinion is nobody should use technology you might not agree with me but thats okay.

therefore, i think technology should not be used.
