Does the use of technology make new world records less impressive than those of the past?

I think it can make new world records more impressive than before, because as everybody trains with technology, they train in similar ways, so they play in similar ways, and for that it is more difficult to outstand.Also,there is much more people that want to play sports,and they use technology, so as there are more people that play sports and they are good,the average level has raised a lot.

An example of this is nowadays basketball, in all the teams all the people are very good and there are only a few that outstand from the rest. As the level is very similar, when someone improves, the others improve for balancing the level, so it is always rising.

Someone who disagrees might think that if you are good without technology you are going to have the same difference with others that are worse than you using or not technology, however, I think they are wrong because you are going to have a difference in aspects not related with technology, but technology will balance the level a lot , so the difference wouldn´t be noticed.

In conclusion, I think that technology makes new world records more impressive because the level is very balanced and it is very difficult to ouststand enough to get a world record.
