Does the use of technology make world records less impressive than those in the past?

Modern technology has greatly changed the way sports are played today compared to 200 years ago. However, it does not necessarily make the games less exciting or enjoyable to watch. In fact, technology can make sports more entertaining and fair.

Things like VAR in football and Hawk-Eye in tennis are very useful because they help referees make more accurate decisions. This can make the game fairer and help solve difficult moments during a match.

However, some technology can also make sport less fair. For example, in football or baseball, some teams can afford better equipment than others. This can give wealthier teams an advantage because it makes it easier for them to perform important actions during the game.

I think technology can make games more exciting, but it can also make things unfair if it is not used carefully.

Some people might disagree because they believe technology makes sport modern and helps improve the game. Over the years, people have argued about this because technology keeps changing the way sport works.

In my opinion, people may have different views, but technology can still help make sport better in many ways.
