About this lesson

In many countries, people are having fewer children than in previous generations. Governments are increasingly worried about what this could mean for the economy, public services and future workforces. Some are encouraging people to have more children through financial incentives and family-friendly policies. Others are investing in technology to prepare for a smaller workforce.
