About this lesson

In April 2026 a series of attacks on Jewish people in London led the UK government to declare an “antisemitism emergency”. The attacks raised wider questions about hate crime, public safety and the role of the media when reporting traumatic events.

How can news reporting inform the public without increasing fear or division?
