Politics and businesses, not the vice versa!

Hello everyone!

We’ve talked about business and politics, but now let’s talk about politics and businesses and how politics affects business.

This connection between politics and business has been on my mind a lot lately, and I believe that as students, we should be having these conversations. We are all impacted by what occurs in boardrooms and on Capital Hills, particularly when we begin to consider our future jobs.

Now let's look at a real-world example,

The Indian 2G spectrum issue. It was a big thing, as you may have heard!

In other words, the government's improper management of spectrum licensing disrupted not only the telecom industry but the whole business environment. Businesses struggled to expand, investors lost faith, and employment prospects were hazy at first.

However, this is where things get interesting: business and politics aren't just two distinct industries; they're closely related. Consider this: government policies influence trade deals, taxation, and regulations, all of which have an immediate effect on how firms run.

What then can we do to address it?

Let's educate ourselves first. Let's examine the problems in more detail, comprehend how politics affects corporate choices, and keep up with global events.

Still, knowledge on its own is insufficient. We must take action. This may include speaking up in class, volunteering for a cause we support, or even joining a student club that focuses on politics or business.

Not to be overlooked is the influence of our votes. When it comes to selecting our leaders, let us make informed decisions. Let's select candidates that respect responsibility, justice, and openness in both business and politics.

However, it doesn't end there. We must also speak up in favor of change. Let's utilize our voices to make a difference, whether we're advocating for measures that advance economic equality or tighter rules to thwart corruption.

By working together, we can create a future where business and politics collaborate to generate opportunities for everyone. Now let's get to work.

Thank you!
