Women in Media

harder for women to become senior journalists. (Journalists are who explore around the world, collect information, facts and report those facts in the news). Most people think that men are better than women to do jobs and earning money, yet women are better to take care of the family and being a housewife which is not true. If you go to a country where there is very much gender inequality people will treat you very badly and differently than men.

Particularly women who had been enslaved by the islamic state in Libya but managed to escape and start a new life after that in europe. Nowadays women have been shown as more confident as many of them wanted to prove that only men aren’t better for jobs women are also really educated and nice. A good thing about women in media is that gender inequality has been reduced a lot, so almost 70% of the womens are doing jobs rather than being a housewife. One more positive is that inclusive representation of women in the media can create more gender-equal societies and provide realistic role models for young girls.

Some of the standards presented by media send a false perception of women, thus portraying women in a negative and disrespectful manner. Girls are often portrayed in the media as focusing more on their appearance than their skills as well as they get judged for their appearance and their body type. Only 22% of women get jobs in media like editors, directors and writers which is not fair for women. Women get less paid than men although they are doing the same job/work, so women are not treated fairly in media. Back in the old days some young girls were sold to men to do their work or marry them because their families didn’t have enough money to pay rents, for food and more basic necessities.

Overall I think people should start respecting women because it not like they don’t have feelings they also do have feelings. With this women should get morte support by people all over the world. I believe that people should start noticing the troubles of women in mediamore, and should start to support and respect their education, their skills and their actions and women and men both genders should be treated equally.

  • You are right, women are often portrayed as people who only care about their how they look, but from my perspective, they are way more than that because if women are given equal opportunities as men, I believe that what some women will do will change the world and make it a better place, but women are downgraded by men in the society and they are treated like they are worthless. This act of discrimination is really unfair and should be stopped.
    THANK YOU!!!

  • I totally agree with you on this
In the news world, some people think it's harder for women to become big-shot journalists who travel around the world and report on important stuff. But that's not fair! Everyone should have the same chances. Some folks believe old-fashioned ideas that men are better at making money, while women are just good at taking care of the house. That's not true at all!
There are stories of brave women who escaped tough situations, like those who got away from bad people in Libya and started new lives in Europe. Nowadays, women are proving themselves more and more. Did you know that about 70% of women are working instead of staying home?
But there are still problems. Sometimes, the media shows women in a not-so-nice way, focusing too much on how they look instead of what they can do. And guess what? Women often get paid less than men for the same work!
Overall, we need to treat everyone with respect and give everyone the same opportunities. Girls and boys should be treated equally, and everyone should have a chance to shine. Let's cheer on women and support them in their careers!
