Is AI a good platform or a harmful platform?

In my opinion AI does both harm and good in the world but it depends on the situation that it is in. A good example would be people that use it for random and unnecessary things and thats harm for the world because it uses a big amount of CO2, thats very bad for the planet, polluting and doing bad stuff for us too. But the good things that AI does is helping the ones that actually need help with work or school that cannot be helped by parents or friends because they are absent. And AI also helps people like doctors for an example, to think more clearly and doctors help lives so that is a good thing for us, for the world.
We can prevent all the harmful things that AI does for us like taking a lot of things from us. AI takes from us our freedom and thinking on our own and thats happening more and more these days and for young children too. We can stop this by putting children to do more things on their own, not just work but going out on their own or just basic day to day stuff without their phones, tablets and laptops.
The final conclusion is that it depends on how you put the problem if AI is good or harmful. AI can do both problems at the same time but another solution for us is to stop using it not just for our personal benefit but also for our planet’s health.

AI is a double-edged sword—it can be of great assistance but it also has some disadvantages, such as the accrual of ecological damage and the loss of independence for humans. What I like in your article is the topic of AI which of course, is taking the ability of doing it by own instead of children. Isn't that awesome! People are already so addicted to it, that it is easier for people to think without their own brains.
Not to diminish the fact that doctors can be helped by AI is a very positive thing. Just visualize how many lives are saved by the diagnosis that is made in seconds. But on the other hand, the part of pollution is really disconcerting—even most people aren't aware of the fact that a good amount of AI involves energy consumption.
We are in complete agreement on the idea of finding a happy medium—utilizing AI thoughtfully without allowing it to take control over our life or ruin the environment. It might be that in the future humans will be able to fix this by making AI more environment-friendly. What's your take—do you reckon, schools should teach kids how to use AI responsibly rather than banning it, don't you?
