Should everyone be allowed to use AI?

I think there should be limits in AI because it is replacing the human brain and trying to copy human capacities offering better services and plans. And these might make people depend a lot in AI and forget their skills like feelings, understanding people, being creative, or thinking with reason.
First of all, AI can reduce our autonomy by making decisions for us. A study published in science and engineering ethics in 2018, says that AI in some fields such as medicine or criminal justice, people trust in the decisions made by AI, although they could have mistakes; so people lose the capacity of deciding by themselves.
AI can also have an impact on the environment. It requires significant informatic power, which consumes a lot of electricity and water. Furthermore, AI systems contribute to carbon emissions and exhaust water supplies due to the cooling processes for their hardware. We could set limits by improving energy efficiency or using renewable energy resources, which could reduce environmental impacts.
Finally, as I said before, AI does not have feelings and it cannot think deeply. AI processes information based on the rules and defined data. For example, AI can detect if a text shows sadness, but AI does not feel it, it just recognizes it with its data. Moreover, it uses logic but not humans intuitive perception with emotions and experiences.
To sum up, although AI uses fantastic abilities and capacities, it would be essential to establish limits to preserve human autonomy and ensure it helps humans but it does not replace them. Like this, we could use the potential of AI and protect what makes us unique.
