Will AI do more harm then good?

I think AI does more harm then good because in the makeing of AI it produses thousands of tones of waste ever year and if this carries on and people don't start trying to find more sustainible ways to make AI the world will keep getting poluted we wont have a world to live on.
However I can see how other people think that AI does more good than harm because AI can help bankers and . AI could help bankers by rather then haveing a man or women who counts all the money AI can do it for them.
But if AI was more sustainable then I might think it does more good then harm but entill AI gets more sustainable I think it does more harm then goodl.
