Elon musk is an influencial figure being a billionaire and the owner of twitter. His influence on this social media platform is massive and gives him a significant amount of power. This large amount of power and influence has led people to debate weather or not Elon Musk has too much power.
The problem.
One issue that many people have with Elon Musk's power is his ability to influence the public. For example, Elon Musk openly stated his support for Donald Trump during the US elections which may have led to a large amount of voters being pointed towards him. People hae spoken out about this and raised concern over Elon having this much influence.
Another issue that people have spoken out about is Elon's ability to filter and block out certain news stories in favor of another on twitter. People have expressed concern about his ability to do this and weather or not it is a good thing for Elon to be able to do. This has been seen a couple of times in recent years where Elon has censored multiple news stories.
On the other hand, many people have come out to defend Elon suggesting that he can do what he wants on his platform that he brought. After all, he paid $44 billion for the app just to be critised over what he does with it. This has led many people to support his influence and control online.
So is it really a problem?
In my opinion, I don't think that Elon should have this much power and influence due to his ability to influence votes on political power and sway opinions on worldwide subjects. This could lead to elections being one sided, news stories being covered and opinion being swayed towards wrong decisions. This is why i think that Elon's power and control online is becoming a majour issue.

Yes ,he does ,and what gave him this power was his previous employment in social media and the upbringing of twitter. But most importantly it is how he uses this social media power and presents. He uses his fame on platforms to change people's minds about politics,topics,etc. This is how Elon Musk"s social media affects his power and impact.
I believe that Elon should have limited influence online due to the fact that in different discussions that include politics, opinions, and beliefs.And the fact he is able to control all 3 of the ideas is quite mind blowing.With news articles and topics coming up that allegedly he rigged he election due to his "Influence" online.This really goes to show powerful this man is online and in general.The fact he's able to manage the president because in someway shape or form he got Donald Trump on his side also because his "influence".Elon is so overpowered when it comes to social media it's like there needs to be limit on Elon due to how much power he really has.Some evidence with this is when ever Elon Musk posts there's like a million comments, views, and gain of followers.SO to conclude yes he has too much power and their needs to be a limit on him because this can really change the world and how we see it in a negative light.
